Maria Robbin
(Colombia)

For the past 20 years she has been working as an international food broker selling all kinds of foods in different markets around the world. Writing had never crossed her mind until a few years ago when she started doing research on her paternal side of the family and realized that she needed to tell all of those stories, which were too good not to tell!! She had always loved writing and had been good at it, but had never considered it as something she would do on a daily basis. She often laughs and tells a story about an English Professor she had in college who told her she should consider becoming a writer.

Maria Clara Aristizábal
(Colombia)

Maria Clara started practicing yoga in 2000 with the certainty that there was something beyond the movement. Intuitively her body knew the well-being that it would bring to her mind without me knowing it. In 2016, after a painful divorce that triggered a severe depression, she got to know mindfulness and began to see a way out of that dark hole she had entered. With a whole life ahead to rebuild, she decided to study it and practice it to be able to share it with children and adults, because she understood that if she had had these tools since she was a child, she could have had more freedom when making important decisions in her life. She is convinced that sharing this with others is just the way her heart has to tell her to constantly be aware of her mental, physical and emotional world while helping others to be aware as well.

After serving in the United Nations World Food Programme for almost 27 years, Keiko is the author of the book “What Grandma Taught Me: A Worldwide Tribute to Grandmothers and Their Legacies” which made her and the co-author Paula Henstridge, international best-selling authors. The book allows her to heal the world, not by millions while working for WFP, one little wave at a time.
